At Conquest we train CT2's in anaesthesia with a view to completion of the Initial Assessment of Competence in Obstetric Anaesthesia. We run monthly simulations on delivery suite as well as 6-monthly regional obstetric anaesthesia simulation days.There is an established teaching program which is mapped to the Core and Intermediate obstetric anaesthesia curriculum.
There are many training opportunities including elective operating lists, urgent/emergency obstetric care under the supervision of a consultant and clinics.
