About Us
In the Beginning:
To improve the learning experience of anaesthesia trainees at Conquest Hospital we created the website conquestobs.org, which was aimed specifically at obstetric anaesthesia training.
The Growing Years:
conquestobs.org became a useful resource for trainees and a useful database and follow-up system. I was asked to roll it out across both sites of ESHT and potentially deanery-wide.
Where we're going:
We changed the focus of the website from purely obstetric anaesthesia to encompass all anaesthesia and ICM training across the entire trust and renamed it ESICAT. This will benefit trainees and trainers alike as the trust moves forward, demonstrating high quality training IT integration.
